Would you dress your child as seaweed?

Talk over lunch turned to reminiscing about dress-up days at primary school. Of course, being Oz, there's no Halloween, so we have to make up other excuses to paint our faces. One such time was the day my school had a 'Letter S' day. You could come as anything that started with an 'S'. Sportspeople, stars, suns, snowmen, santa... you get the picture.
What did I come dressed as.... ? SEAWEED!
My mother, in a stroke of madness, cut a big green garbage bag into long strips and then attached them to a t-shirt. Unfortunately, that was actually the best costume she ever made.
